Going beyond mere product testing, we assess aspects relating to optimal textile care in the home – such as wash and tumble-dry programmes, appliances (washing machines, tumble dryers), appliance modifications, and care additives in detergents and fabric conditioners.
For the comparison of hard-surface cleaners, detergents and laundry additives, washing machines and tumble dryers (white goods), as well as other household appliances, we have a system that is unique worldwide and provides you with particularly practical and reliable results.
For hard-surface cleaners, as well as laundry detergents and additives, we also carry out standardised test procedures such as the EU Ecolabel, IKW recommendations and A.I.S.E. standards, which enable you to assess, amongst other things, the stain-removal performance and, in some cases, the colour-fastness of your products.
Whether it’s ‘deep clean’, ‘prevents lint’, ‘protects colours’, ‘powerful against grease stains’, ‘effective from as low as 20 °C’ or ‘still smells fresh weeks later’ – advertising claims for laundry and fabric care products must be verifiable. We carry out practical, comparative tests not only on laundry detergents, but also on cleaning products for hard surfaces and hand dishwashing liquids. You receive objective, reproducible results – which can also serve as proof of effectiveness for eco-labels.
